I would love to live in a cave!
I saw some French houses, at the coast, where they build beautiful houses, quite comfortable.
I guess it depends from the only side Esmog will come from: the openings.
Surely, it's much easier to block ESmog from one side, than from many sides. I'm guessing, but I suppose it will be much easier to use anything such as aluminum or silver or stainless steel grids or painting on one wall, then to do an almost impossible thing in a normal condition (where we get multiple signals from all sides, and they end up rebounding in our shields).
I hope someone can tell you, but I'm sure the moment you enter deeper inside, or sleep behind a wall, you'll get less radiation than when sleeping near a window or door (if not metallic).
I guess you could buy a ES meter or ask someone to test for you?
