I actually have the same one myself.

I do find if I keep it on all the time it irritates my sinuses so I just use it once a week or so to clean the air or if I get sick to kill the germs

and then there are negative ion generators.
get one that is very low tech - no fan, no
dials or other fancy features. mine has
served me well for decades and all it is, is
a little stick on a box that puts out almost
zero EMFs. i think the website is
negativeIonGenerators.com - they're based
in MO... a mom & pop operation. i keep it
on the other side of the room from where i
sit or sleep and it seems to be very good
for cleaning the air and for minding its own
business. :) not at all intrusive.
on the other hand... i've had those with all
the bells and whistles and i'll never go back
to them. keep it simple... you know... KISS.

just because we are ehs does not mean we react any more than others to ionizing radiation tho... nobody knows I think.
