I've begun wearing just one 1-day Acuvue Moist contact lens in my dominant eye. The other eye had astigmatism and used to have a contact. Both eyes are dry, but with the daily wear lens in one eye I can wear it comfortably all day long. You won't see anything
sharply with the mono-vision, but at least there's no need to hunt down a pair of reading glasses!

Actually in the market for a new pair of frames due to the fact that mine have metal in them. Glasses are expensive, they were $750 without insurance for my last pair. I feel that the metal near my head affects me because its conductive. Can't even wear
metal jewelry anymore. I had to get the metal bar out of my mouth (retainer) because it was conducting emf. Might want to make sure you are not going to have any problems before you buy them. If theres any way to get around it I would go with contacts to be
safe, don't they have contacts for astigmatisms?
You could have someone muscle test you with the glasses to see if they are okay for you.. or you can muscle test yourself very easily. You just stand up straight, close your eyes concentrate on whatever it is that you want to know if its bad or good for you,
and if your body leans forward its okay and if you start leaning back then its bad. Don't do it while holding something heavy or wearing a backpack though as it will skew your results. Takes awhile to master because its easy to overthink it, but if you don't
overthink it, its pretty accurate and simple.
