I guess it goes to show that we (ES) each have different levels of sensitivity to different things.  When first debilitated by EMF, I shunned wearing all jewelry and metal framed glasses in an effort to banish any potential aggravators but now slowly have been re-introducing some things and closely observing reactions.  It seems that I do fine now with my rimless glasses with the metal arms enclosed in plastic and can wear rings and a necklace, but I do like wearing that one contact lens mono-vision thing.

An ES friend is fine with briefly using and leaving on an older flip-open cell phone when in the car while I become ill with such usage.

Really?  I am bothered not only by metal framed glasses, but also plastic framed glasses with the metal wire inside, and also plastic framed glasses WITHOUT a wire but with the metal hinges and screws!  However, for the latter this only really bothers me when I'm sitting in front of a computer (high EMF).

As a result, my vision correction is completely metal free (except for my sunglasses, which I don't use in front of a computer).  I wear contact lenses and my reading glasses have no metal at all (including no metal hinges)
