Hey all,

I just found out I have astigmatism(sp?) is both eyes and need progressive lens. The Dr. said I could either get reading/computer screen in one lens or reading/computer/driving in one lens.
I have never worn glasses before so I think getting all 3 in one lens would be really hard to get used to, plus I don't feel like I have an issue when driving.
I was shocked at the price-all told it will cost around $500 for the frame and lens with my insurance, not sure if Costco would be any cheaper.

I came here mainly to ask about metal in the frames. The lighter pair had plastic on the front part but the arms are metal. Would this be an issue?
They had one that was this soft, flexible frame that was really light but it was $400 just for the frame!

Any suggestions or ideas? I'm stumped
