Someone was trying to talk me into moving to a place that had smart meters, on the water lines.  Of course I declined. They claimed the place was safe, as the meter was 100 feet away from the living space. I did not buy that. I have heard water can shield, but it is also a conductor. That is why having a hairdryer where it can fall in the tub is deadly. Not to mention many systems have metal pipes.

I had heard once the water meters were very bad, but have lost where I can find the reference and now can not find any other reference.

Would like to know if any one has heard anything about it.
