Thank you!  I figured as such.  I really hate that stove and it is only in the install process. They changed it to a "smart stove" after I did the research to buy it , but before the order was placed. It cost me more than a car!

I called the company today and I asked them what I can do. They told me where to look in the manual on how it can be "disabled" and pass that on to my installer.  I made it clear to the company tech that I can not have any transmissions.  I also referred that many have pacemakers and can't have that either. That way they will not see me as the "tin Hat lady". They guaranteed me that there would be no more transmissions after disabling and that there were no other chips in the stove.

Have to say as an ES I am still nervous w/ this thing. For sure I will be testing it with the Acousticom 2 and an AM radio. The heater is the most critical item in my home, even more so than food or water!

I do know the wireless on my computer is fine disabled, but again still nervous on this stove-don't trust a company that would make changes to an existing model so secretly.
