    Film maker Josh del Sol will be introducing his award-winning feature length documentary and leading a lively discussion.

    Synopsis: Transparency advocate Josh del Sol digs beyond the 2013 NSA spy scandal, investigating current utility and government programs involving mass in-home surveillance, eroding rights and causing harm in the names of' smart' and 'green.'

    Seattle Background: In preparation for Monday's vote by the Seattle City Council on a resolution to install "smart" wireless surveillance meters all over Seattle and outlying areas, this film sheds light onto the true dangers of this technology. You will learn about serious privacy violations, unjustly increases in utility bills, as well as how dramatically high the spikes of radiation are that will be emitted in bursts, 24 hours per day, from this future addition to your home.  We will all suffer directly, and indirectly, if we allow SPU to go ahead with this large-scale experiment on human beings, bees, plants, and all life.
