This information is misleading, as incandescent lights are and will
still be available in the USA. You can purchase "rough service" lights,
which are usually for commercial/industrial purposes, as these are
exempt from the ban and are still the same old incandescent lights
that everyone should be able to tolerate (assuming you tolerated
incandescents in the first place)
You can also buy the new halogen incandescent bulbs, which are
replacing the old bulbs. Again, there are no transformers, so to
someone with ES, these should be just as tolerable as the old
bulbs.
You can also buy line-level halogens, which do not emit any dirty
electricity, but have special fixtures.
Just avoid the compact flourescents, and some people react to
some types of LED bulbs as well (due to transformers)
