I would urge caution on the paint. Many essers have found this made things worse. You end uplocking emfs inside the room.
Yes I agree with all of what you say Lizzie. And a canopy, faraday cage or shielding fabric in the sleeping area is an ABSOLUTE MUST! You need a break at night because in apartrments, no matter how much you try to block, RF there is going to be leakage and exposure.
I live in an apartment and I have covered the walls and windows in my bedroom and living room with hardware screen to block microwave radiation coming in through the walls and windows from nearby Cell Towers. This has made it possible to live in the unit without having a total meltdown. It has brought the levels down considerably.
But the people above and below me have Cordless Phones and Wi_FI coming thru the floors. I covered the living room floor with hardware screen and the hallway with sheet metal which brought the levels down considerably, but doing that did create issues with EMF's bouncing around off the screen in the living room from the Electronics I have in there, such as Computer, TV, Stereo, etc. The whole thing is a mess but even with this mess, it is better than living in here with no sheilding on the walls and windows, in which case I would be getting totally fried.
So, you need to assess where the exposure is coming from and try to block it best you can to bring the levels down. DO NOT USE THE PAINT. Bad idea. Besides, it costs to much for a rental situation - why put that money into someone else's property when you could spend it on shielding fabric or material? At least with sheet metal, you can take it with you. Plus, the paint does not address windows and floors.
Cover all windows with cheap aluminum screen. $1.00 a foot. Cheapest and best solution I have found.
