Wouldn't you know it....... I found a great looking Netbook..... but they don't send to Canada!!   oh grrrrr. I would need to have it sent to a US address.

I will post the link and maybe someone else in the US will be interested.  The price is awesome too.

Now I'm bummed out.  Good luck to someone else tho :)

Thank you Marc
I'm going to check out EBay fer sure.  It wasn't just the smell to me but my heart raced like all get out, dizzy, very nauseated.  Like my brain just stopped working too.  If I didn't experience it I never would have believed another person!  and that is the sad part we all have to live with.... people dont believe us for the most part.  I'm very lucky that I have a very supportive husband.  That is huge !

have a great evening
Aimee

When my wife got a Lenovo X200 laptop, I noticed that the
chemical smell of it (new) was very bothersome to me for
at least the first week.  I also didn't much like the piercing LED
backlight, but dimming it and increasing the red color
channel and/or decreasing the blue color channel helped
with that.

The netbook I use on trips is a Lenovo IdeaPad S10-2,
which I bought used (and cheap) on eBay.  It seems okay
to me, although for wireless I use a wi-fi or 3g transmitter/receiver
connected to a USB cable (6 foot cable in airports, 15 foot
cable in hotels)
