Hey Paul,

Was the wireless modem that you have come from Comcast?  Was it that tank looking metal tower that you plug your phone line into.  I don't even know how it works.  I told the guy to get it out of my home.  I never ordered it.  If you can tolerate that thing are you sure that you're EHS?  I can't even tolerate thinking about what it did to me in less than 10 minutes.  How do you stand it?

      I have been given wireless modems on the basis that you can go wired, I  

need one that can support a lan for 2 pcs - but everytime I test the ethernet  

wired connection on these wireless modems/routers I find the wifi signal is

 still there and not disabled !!!!

same for the XBOX that's pumping out wifi all the time evan on  standby

until you unplug it !

Cancel the service. Get a different  Internet

service provider.



Or replace the Comcast wireless modem  with a

wired modem. Comcast will probably do it for you

if attempt to  cancel the service. Or if not,

buy an old one on  eBay.
