Hi Marc,
Of course. I made him take it out. What could I do? There was no way that I could tolerate that thing. It felt worse than DECT and wireless router combined. But that's not the point. I was told by the tech that this is the wave of the future. In other words, there may come a time in the near future when these wireless modems WILL BE the standard. This is what the people think they want. I am suggesting that if that happens, then the outcry may become as intense as the one regarding the Smart meters.
If people think that a fight can be avoided down the road they may be very naive. I can't even think about that device without getting my nervous system in an uproar!
But thanks for reminding me that at least for now my wired box still works. If it ever breaks down though I may be in trouble. I guess any of us may say that and that is why I posted this to eSens. Have you experienced this tower yet for yourself? It wasn't around a year ago, so all of its potential environmental harm lies in front of us. I wonder how many of my neighbors have this now? You wouldn't know of anyone who gets affected by the electronics that their neighbors are using would you? If so, I really feel sorry for them in a few years.
Pam

Cancel the service. Get a different Internet
service provider.
Or replace the Comcast wireless modem with a
wired modem. Comcast will probably do it for you
if attempt to cancel the service. Or if not,
buy an old one on eBay.
