This is a fabulous group of people!  A thought occurred to me Aimee, do you by chance, have any metal in your body? Like silver filings, gold caps, root canals, titanian implants from any previous surgeries? Think of all this like an onion and a puzzle. Finding the pieces of the puzzle that solve your body'smystery is like peeling away the layers of an onion. Its all a puzzle, and its about un raveling the layersand  finding the puzzle pieces that give you relief, make some things better. Most people don't eat an entire onion at a time. (well, not exactly true, as my daughter will eat a wholeplate of steamed onions...chuckle). LIzzie

      Dear Lizzie and all

thank you for your very detailed reply.  I have read about the electrical stuff  and I never have wireless anythiing in my room.  no tv.  but of course, my older bed is all metal.  I use an electric blanket in winter but haven't for months now, and I don't notice any improvement.

Right now I am very stressed and I can push myself over the edge with all the possibilities.

My supportive husband says that I will never know unless I try.  He keeps me grounded lol.  As usual he's  right.   As you said, we all wish we knew before the fact, but that cant always be done.   Maybe my system will not know any different!

I will check out the link for sure.  Last night I ordered a couple of things from EMFBlues website.  I also wear a pendant from Earthcalm.

thanks a million...... you guys rock

Aimee

Hello Aimee, Shan and all others,

I

hope this message gets to you in time.

I

think more then a few of us on this site, have learned things "after"

the fact, that we wished we'd known "before".

Right

people? Yes, see, they are shaking their heads yes.

Here's

how it works in the ES world. The best advice from scientists tell us to

"not" sleep anyhwere near electrical appliances/wiring in walls/ ect,

and to remove all wireless technologies from our bedrooms. Some of us remove all wireless from our houses.

Many

of us choose not to use anything wireless (cell phone AND cordless telephones)

or use only for emergencies.

It

is also stated by many emf experts to not sleep in regular beds with metal

springs, as the springs act like antennas, and amplify emfs literally into the

sleeping body.

I

have read that all electrical beds put out high emfs. How high is too high? I

don't know. I do know that there is enough credible science on this subject of

emf exposure to

make

me never want to sleep near electrical again. That's just me.

Question:

Have you ever considered that exposures to emfs might be a co factor in  Fibromyalgia?

Not

something you're likely to hear from a regular mainstream doctor. However, I

have a friend who has Fibro, and he slept with his wifi laptop, and cell phone

in his bedroom.

As

an experiment, he agreed to take these out of the bedroom for a two week

period, and remove all other sources of electrical, as much as he could.

At

the end of the two week period, he was astounded. While yes, he still has the

Fibro, which he suffered in agony with for years....he said

he

now believed that his wifi laptop and cell phone might have caused it because

he felt much better.

There

are many, many sources that state that sleeping near appliances, is not a safe

idea, emf wise. The below link is just one of them.

Basically,

one is who sleeping on an electric bed, is literally sleeping on top of electro

magnetic fields, every night. During sleep, is when the body

regenerates/rejuvenates and repairs itself.

This

process is inhibited, when a person is sleeping in a a field of emfs. THis

means the body can no longer repair itself to the extent that it would, and

translates to well being being jeopordized.

EMF: Home truths | Complete Wellbeing

completewellbeing.com/article/home-truths/

"The

extent to which one can be harmed by these damaging radiations largely depends

on the strength of the EMFs emitted by an appliance, one’s proximity to the

device and the time for which one is exposed. With proper knowledge and

precautions the effect of these radiations can largely be reduced.

The

head of your bed should never be placed opposite an electrical panel, television,

computer or an air conditioner.

If

you have a bedside electric clock, you are probably sleeping with radiations

equivalent to that of a high tension power line.

“Keep

electrical devices such as telephones at least six feet from your bed. Beds

with metal parts must be avoided. Sleeping in a bed with heating pad,

electricblanket or waterbed heater plugged into a wall outlet can be

dangerous,” says Lucknow-based senior neuro-physician I.N. Bajpayee.

Electric

bedding devices create a magnetic field that penetrates about 6 –7 inches into

the body leading to miscarriage, childhood leukaemia and breast cancer.

An

epidemiological study performed in 1979 by US-based epidemiologists Nancy

Wertheimer and Ed Leeper have linked electric blankets with miscarriages and

childhood leukaemia. In 1988, a study sponsored by the New York State

Department of Health supported their hypothesis. Another study in

African-American women found that use of electric bedding devices may increase

breast cancer risk. Therefore, avoid buying these." Unquote.

Also,

Samual Milham, an Epidiomologist, wrote a book called: “Dirty Electricity,

Electrification and Diseases of Civilization”- presents evidenced back

science to prove that emfs and electricity have caused many of  today’s diseases.

Blessings,

Lizzie

yes, I have MCS , ES and Fibro.  This is supposed to be good for fibro and i believe it would be , because I know even a slight change of postion helps.  That was what I had in mind when I ordered it and now the electrical has come to mind.!

Do you have a reason why you feel that you need an adjustable bed? Would an inclined bed work as well? [Inclined Bed Therapy by Andrew Fletcher]

I have has my bed on an incline for a few years and it has been great for my blood circulation as well as how often I need to get up at night, plus I can breathe easier.......[I have MCS]
