Thank you for your reply. I think that I must be pretty darn sensitive. They are willing to take it back but then what do i sleep in ? Plus they will hate me. They don't understand. I dont know that the metal is an issue with me. I'm on the verge of a breakdown..... trying to help myself live a somewhat normal life and yet not step on toes in the process.
Thank god for this group is all I can say right now. I know we all have to find our own answers but its good to vent and get some understanding anyway.

I suppose it depends on how sensitive you are. Seems like with
an adjustable bed, your bedframe is going to have lots of
metal in it, plus it will have electrical components and plugged
into the wall. All of these are bad from an ES standpoint.
But depending on how bad off you are, your reaction to
this will range from nothing at all to intolerable.
And I guess you could always just unplug it when it's adjusted,
then it's only the metal you'd have to worry about.
I think that for me, it's the metal bed springs in the mattress
that caused the most problems.
