I've been to alternative health practitioners who have used the term "switched",
which I think might be the same thing (or perhaps related?) to "inverted spin".  
When one is "switched", muscle testing is unreliable.

There are EMF protection devices which claim to normalize this -- for example,
the "Mega-Chi" pendant that can be purchased online.  I've used this to
increase my own strength/stamina.  It is also marketed as an EMF protection
device, although I don't really use it for that...
