I can't recall exactly -- it seemed like there were wires touching
each other that weren't supposed to be touching each other.  There
was all sorts of electrical weirdness in this house before we
moved in, and it costs us quite a bit to fix... (this house did
not cause my ES, as I had it before we moved in)
