If you use 3 coats I bet the field will be dominated by areas
where it cracks or gaps you missed.  And then it will
reflect around in side.  Do you know what the field strength
is and how low it needs to be?  50dB is a tall order.
Look into a professional screen room, faraday cage,
or screening tent.  Also, try for a few days a ketogenic diet,
like Atkins, lots of coconut fat and vitamin E.
