The thryoid makes 9 hormones. I tend to look at the big picture and ask: what IS CAUSING THIS IMBALANCE? And how can I fix it?
While regular medicine/mainstream medicne tends to say: "here, take more estrogen, or take these hormones, or take this, or take that."
Read the book I posted on the other email. It is , in my opinion, having studied both the thryoid and adrenal stuff for years...
the absolute most accurate and helpful source of information I have found, to date.
IN short, you can plug the leak, OR you can find out what is CAUSING the problem to start with.
If you merely plug the leak, the problem is still there. You've only put a bandaide on it.
And you have chosen a path that is ripe with more problems to happen down the road.
But if you take the time/effort to find OUT what's causing the problem, and address that; you've made sure to fix both the leak AND what's causing it.
To me, its a win win- to take the time to fix the problem and not just fix the symptom.

Hi Lizzie,
I also have thyroid problems, as well as extremely low estrogen levels. Primarily I have the hyper variety of the thyroid, although it did swing to hypo for awhile. Is this common? I get very confused about how all these hormones work together...
Thanks for the response.
Cheryl

Hi,
Emfs throw the whole thyroid gland out of whack. the thryroid is responsible for making the hormones.
Also, any SOY in your food will effect estrogen levels, as SOY mimics estrogen. Also plastics and other chemicals are "endocrine dysrupters" as well.

Subject: [eSens] EMF effects on Estrogen levels
Hi everyone,
Does anybody know how EMF effects the levels of estrogen in our bodies, especially in women? I have done some online research on this but at this point am wondering if any of you have had personal experience with this. However, any info would be helpful.
Thanks,
Cheryl
