Tell them "get used to it?" do they want their mom to have to live in a CAVE?

 I am new here. I have had mcs and es for twenty years. I am supposed to get a smart meter put on my house sometime next year here in southern california. I am against this but my husband and children think that I will be fine. I cannot watch any type of tv whether lcd or led or the usual without getting a headache. Once it is unplugged, the headache goes away. I am hoping to get some info sent to our local mayor about the dangers of these meters. Unfortunately even my neighbor doesn't think that these meters are a problem. I am mostly housebound to avoid fabric softeners, perfumes, etc. I do not own a cell phone as those give me headaches but my family have theirs.
Now I can handle being on this computer for about two hours with a cell phone charging about 3 to 4 feet from me but not sure how I will react with a smart meter. I figure it will be about 6 plus feet from my head in my bedroom. I always react with headaches on just about anything. If it is strong enough, I leave the room or area, and I am fine. If these meters do this to me, I will be living on the streets! No support whatever from my family. They want to hook up an LED tv again so they can use a bigger screen. We tried it last year, and within ten minutes, I got my headache. I told them to turn it off and unplug it. I can still sense it even while plugged in and not on. My family wants me to get used to it! Sorry for this long post. I am 56, female, and tired of it all.
