Hi, Elysia,

<Can you heal that at this advanced a stage?>

I was having stage 7 symptoms (except for tumors) way back in the early 1970s.

It is true I was very ill for a very long time but I am now not nearly as bothered
by emfs as I was even 2 years ago.  I am in the best health I have had my entire
life!  Don't allow this email about stages to daunt you, Elysia.  I had almost every

symptom mentioned in this "stages of EHS" email; some way back as early as the

1950s.  You need to concentrate on healing your immune system and ion-channels.
This information is out there.  It is easy to be confused by how to go about it, but
at some point, you just have to settle on a place to begin and go there.

Marc and I both were once where you are now.  We had to decide what sounded
promising and try it.  We had to learn by trial and error.  (If you doubt this, go back
to the beginning of the forum and follow the posts.)  But, here is the thing....
When someone here says something helped them, be sure you are doing what they
said helped them and not something similar.  I see people always trying to do their
own spin on someone else's therapies.  If you are truly going to try electrolytes, try
electrolytes that somebody is saying helps or cures them, not just some electrolytes

that you bought and have on hand.

Once Marc and I had a disagreement about whether vitamin D helped ESsers or

not.  Months went by.  Finally we found out we were talking apples and oranges.

I was saying natural D3 helped and Marc was taking D2.  You cannot try some
thing similar and expect the same results.  Vitamin D2 is not vitamin D3.

Another thing I see people doing is trying something for a day or 2 and getting

symptoms and quitting.  If I had quit the supplements I take (that now help me)on

day 1 or even day 15, I would still be ill.  Truth is, nothing I took came without

symptoms at first.  It was not unusual for me to work for a month to tweak a

supplement in order to tolerate it.  Keep a notebook.  Keep scrupulous notes.

Work to tolerate supplements by repacking them in very small doses.  If you have
tried and tried and it makes you worse in a month, give up and move on.  But at least

give things an honest try.

It is true that for some nutrients you will need other supportive nutrients.  So, not

all nutrients are going to work right off for you.  However, even tho this is true, you

should strive to add only one or 2 nutrients at a time, keeping notes as to what you
experience.  Likewise, try only one therapy at a time.  Otherwise, you will be very

confused and not know what is doing or causing what.  Your notes will also help you

find out what nutrients are missing.  When suddenly a nutrient works one day much

better than it did the last, you can look at what you ate that day and say, maybe it was

that added vitamin C from orange juice, etc....  If you keep good notes as to what you

eat, you will be able to discern exactly what the supportive nutrient was.

Rome wasn't built in a day and you will not be helped in one either.  Realize that there
are no fast fixes.  Watch for the very small improvements.  Occasionally you will be on

the verge of a break thru and suddenly crash.  Realize these things happen.  Pick yourself
back up and start again or just hang on.  Never give up, never give up, never give up.

You can do it, Elysia.  Choose that thing you feel best about and go there.  If it doesn't
work, go to plan B.

Bless you,
Diane
