I have this observation - I had a tooth removed so now have an open socket that is slowly healing, strange thing is that I can taste a metallic taste around the socket - is it possible that this open wound acts like a detox pathway for metals such as mercury in the jaw etc - only a thought puk

In my experience, that metallic taste is usually the taste of blood.
