Hello xyz,
I don't know about the noise ... but I have experiences about the problem of your own body's charge that should be des-charged before you'll get benefit.
I remember own experience at home to arrange a Faraday's cage, done by me with a metallic net around the my wife and mine bed: it was OK only for the first night, the second she returned with bad feelings till to leave the bed.
Another case about a friend: she wanted to cover all the walls with special reflective Copper texture . Who installed advised her to approach to this room very slowly: to increase the time, day by day, to prepare the body to be descharged before to enter there , She took days.
