Jim,
It's nice to read your story of recovery. I hope I am one who does. I think I have a leaking bbb, the reason I react to supplements almost immediately. Tell us about a magnetic bed.
You could lock up your analog meter to stop them installing when you're not home.

I just had my smart meters removed after 10 mos of fighting w a doctors note.
Have your doc. write a letter, to send to all the utilities, long with locking it up.
I'll send the letter that worked for me.
Kathy

Greetings to all:
I recently joined the forum and have been reading posts for the past month or so. I'm really glad this forum exists. Thanks to all who have taken the time and effort to post. I've already gained some help as well as encouragement!
My story, briefly, is this: I became somewhat chemically sensitive about 10 years ago; about 5 years ago I started noticing that a trip down the TV isle at Best Buy was uncomfortable.
In the fall of 2009 I moved my office to an Executive Suite arrangement and started noticing that everytime I came to the office that I would start to feel bad---head pressure, dizziness, out of sorts, racing heart, etc. I have been "connected" to holistic medicine for a long time so I did my own research. I also knew someone who was electrically sensitive. I found out that there were about 18 wireless devices within a 12 foot radius of my desk, including 3 of those deadly Idiot-phones.
I moved my office to home but I was getting more and more sensitive to more and more things. If something even looked like it plugged in, I could feel its output. I purchased a few meters and rearranged a few things at home. Slowly, my sensitivity decreased, but still today if I get an over-exposure, it ramps up again.
My life is definitely different. I won't fly, go to a concert, meeting, or a restaurant during peak hours. I struggle with sleep just like most people with EHS do.
Ironically, 6 months before my EHS became recognized as such, my holistic MD declared after examining me, that I had a leaky blood-brain barrier. His method of detection was his sophisticated system of kinesiology. I have since seen this as somehting related to EHS. I think he really doesn't have a clue as to how to treat this, but he is now thinking about it and will hopefully be coming up with something.
Here's what I'm doing currently to try to remedy this:
--lots of detoxing
--utilizing non=RX sleep remedies like sustained release Melatonin
--Sleeping on the strongest Magnetico magnetic mattress (with exposure only to the negative pole)
-avoid as much as possilbe any EMF exposure
--detox heavy metals
--take a regimen of nutriceuticals as recommended by my holistic MD (most of these are Standard Process)
--have no wireless devices in my house and maintain a distance to all electric devices while sleeping.
Future treatments include: replacement of 3 gold crowns with porcelain. There is probably mercury under at least one of them. I am aware of the galvanic effect. I'm hoping that their removal by my biological dentist will allow my body to heal.
Massive shielding of my house. Even though no cell tower is nearby, I still get a signal. My BIGGEST concern is that there are plans to install SmartMeters in my neighborhood sometime next year. This is the area I really need help in.
If anyone has any suggestions, I am very open.
Thanks in advance,
Jim
