I personally see a great difference between analog and digital frequencies.  But that is neither here nor there, since we all react differently.  As Marc said, it is impossible to say what will happen.  However, if you need a new i Mac you could keep the old analog tv a while and see!

Unfortunately, I don't think there is any answer to your question that will

be very helpful.  The new setup may be better, worse, or the same.  It

depends on the specifics of the components inside your old and new setup,

which vary greatly from one model to the next (and sometimes even the same

model of a piece of electronics changes its internal components while still

retaining the same model number).



Also, there may be no noticeable difference in using a digital signal vs.

analog.  You'd just have to try it and see with the specific setup.  It

may be that for some electronics, the digital signal produces less of a

problem than the analog?
