Well, this may not work for you, but I overcame such an environment with:

-- supplements (antioxidants, essential fatty acids,anti-bacterial/viral/fungal, etc.)
-- removal of as much metal on/in/around my body as possible
-- avoidance (move the computer/monitor back away as far as possible, unscrew
    the overhead florescent lights, turn down the monitor backlight)
-- EMF protection devices (mostly from QuantumProducts.com)
