You are forgetting one important thing. Once you are ES repeated exposure will make you have worse symptoms over time and possibly also increase the electrical devices you are reacting to. I too can not tolerate the same things your wife seems to react too. It only took a few weeks to go from reacting to my computer to reacting to phones, cameras, GPS devices, normal wired phones, radios, TVs, just about everything electronic because I didn't practice good avoidance at the start. Right now I can only use a computer because I am far away from the monitor/computer about 20 feet away. Maybe a bit closer is still safe, but I won't risk that.
