That probably makes sense. It is hard to tell what specific frequencies might be causing the effects when electric or magnetic frequencies are involved. I react to pretty much all electrical appliances if I am close enough to them. The fridge seems to be an exception, but then again the field from it doesn't appear strong according to my Tri-Field meter, I can't really measure it expect when I put the meter inside the fridge to get closer to the EMF emitting components.
I was at the environmental health center in Buffalo for a while recently. Since I don't live near there I temporarily rented a house. They had bad wiring which caused huge EMF spikes where appliances would causes stronger and farther reaching EMF then where I am living now. I figured out it was partially caused by grounding through the water pipes thus causing the pipes to emit a lot of EMF throughout the house. I tried grounding through the actual ground instead of the pipes, but oddly that didn't help even when the water pipe was cut near where it entered the house. The problem was mostly solved by putting a insulated section of pipe in where the cut was and then grounding at the section of the pipe that was not running through the house. I thought that fixed everything, but then when I came home I noticed certain things that happened in that house still like the toaster being on generating measurable EMF in the whole house did not occur in the house I have lived in the past few years.
