Well, this might not be the best place to get advise on which
cellphone to buy, since I suspect that many people here refuse
to own one!

I've got a cellphone.  I never thought the SAR values were
relevant, so I ignored them altogether.  I basically looked
for the lowest lo-tech phone I could find -- one that doesn't do
anything other than make phone calls, and has a single, small,
black & white screen.  Plus I use it as little as possible.  
And when I do use it, I use it in speakerphone mode.  Plus,
when I'm using it I have some sort of EMF protection device
on my person which I've already proven to myself is helpful
to me.

The phone I have is a GSM phone -- a Nokia 1100/1112,
I think.  I know that Motorola used to make a
basic cellphone with an e-ink display that had models
for either the Verizon or AT&T Network which looked
like it might be good, but I never tried one.
