THis used to be an over the counter supplement, but about a decade ago they made it prescription only here in the states.  I took it to keep mucus under control (for chronic bronchial asthma).  I no longer have a prescription for it and I am kicking myself for that, too--I have been going to go back to the doctor for years for one and kept putting it off.  If you can, get SSKI potassium iodide.  Some are just taking iodine tablets for the nuke fallout, tho.

Anybody know how or where? I'm really not buying the "its safe" party line on Fukushima. The reports are so mixed swinging between no contamination/fallout to the core's exposed and we're all going to die. Me and my thyroid gland intend intend to be fully prepared, so if anyone has any suggestions I'd appreciate it. By the way have checked 50 plus on line sites and they are all all completely sold out, which i think is telling.
