And wouldn't that work?  Doesn't that measure cellphone frequencies?
And don't the Smart Meters transmit at cellphone frequencies?

Seems like you could put the Cell Sensor right next to the Smart
Meter, and see how frequently it goes off.  Unless of course,
it really does only go off a few times per day...
