I use a Frigidar old style fridge with a small ice box, I always try to
seek out this type second hand as it does not bother me, whereas a Zanussi one
I  tried out really bothered me. But I  cant find the model no sorry. it
is about 10yrs old. Pretty basic no fancy bits. With the ice box I think it
can help if you turn it off at nights to keep the temp down.  You can get
gas fridges of course.

I suggest putting it on a timer. Set it to be off during the times you are
like to be near by.
