About the Lucinda Grant book, I found it in a library. It dealt mostly with low frequencies, whereas today there are lots of other frequencies of concern. I think you'll be better off with a more recent book. In terms of practical information, I've found Anne Louise Gittleman's book, Zapped, to be a good source of practical information, including nutrition ideas.
In terms of finding an expert, you might want to look for a building biologist in your area (buildingbiology.net). They have a lot of good feedback from a holistic standpoint, considering both EMF and air quality, for example. For EMF, they can help check magnetic, electric, body voltage, and wireless emissions, and recommend unplugging appliances or turning off some circuit breakers at night. I found some free courses on their website with some helpful videos. E.g., in addition to EMF, I learned something about furnace filter and air quality from there and safe cleaners.
What I've learned is that it's easy to escape one form of EMF only to find yourself in a worse environment due to a different form of EMF. Electric, magnetic, harmonics, and RF all seem to be independent.
