I'm not sure I would go for a wireless mouse.  (That's EMF too.)

Make sure you disable Wi-Fi on your laptop.

Get a mechanical mouse (the old-fashioned kind) if possible-- it's slightly better than an optical mouse.  It's a bit obsolete now, but that's what I'd recommend.

Among keyboards, they vary in strength when measured by a gaussmeter.   Sun microsystems USB keyboard is not too bad. (only slight emf when you type).
