Hi Steve
Have you had the treatment yet?? If not before you do anything google oral
galvinism - you will come to some sites, one of which advises something along
the lines that if you have teeth with different metals abutting each other and
causing the galvinism that you should allow a time lapse of 6 months before
replacement. I'm prob not quoting that acurately and wish I could cite the
websites exactly but it is enough if you google oral galvinism and have a browse
round there. I did that earlier in the week and thought "oh no - it will be too
late for me to pass this on to Steve" but hopefully not!
Re the Bruxzir crown - is Zirconia safe - i though Sivani posted something on
here not so long ago which says that zirconia is a metal? I really don't think
it is a good idea to have any metal in your mouth from an antennae point of
view. Let me know how you go and I hope it goes well. Me? my crown is giving me
all sorts of bother but way things are I can't get to the dentist who needs to
deal with it at the moment.
Best wishes
Steph

Subject: [eSens] Bruxzir All Zirconia Crown
I found another alternative crown. The Bruxzir Crown is all zirconia without any
porcelain fused to it. It is stronger than a Lava Crown.
I am still getting the Elite II Porcelain fused to Gold Crown but the Bruxzir
looks like a good alternative if you are avoiding Gold for some reason. It looks
like it's strong enough for a molar.
