If any of you have experience with DE or other metal chelators and can offer some advice please read and reply. Your knowledge is greatly appreciated so very much because my time doing research on the computer must be limited, as I'm sure many of yours is. Thank you in advance!~
I've been taking Perma-Guard Fossil Shell Flour(food grade diatomaceous earth) for just over a week now. I give it to my pets as a parasite cleanseand wanted to do the same for myself. It is also a metal chelator so I'm hoping it may help with my ES symptoms. I was just wondering how long to expect the side effects of chelation to last. Will I have to deal with the issues I'm having the entire time I'm taking it or will the negative effects go away as the metals are being flushed from my system?
I'm experiencing mostly that foods seem to taste metallic. So far, only proteins do not. I've had some sore spots and cuts in my mouth as well. Some headaches, but I live with headaches almost daily so I don't think I can really link them to the DE. The fatigue and muscle soreness aren't too bad because I've been eating a very vitamin/mineral rich diet. Also, my hands and feet seem to be more cold than usual and I constantly am thirsty. Are these all symptoms of chelation?
Does anyone know how long chelation takes in the average person? I have no amalgam fillings, but had one safely remopved years ago. I worked in a chemical soaked environment for about 6 months in my late teens. I do not now nor have I ever eaten seafood.
