Regarding wireless technologies and autism, here's some more
research/food for thought below. However, since your problems improved
by unplugging the power, I would also look into the issue of "dirty"
electricity (see Magda Havas for more info).

(1) Paper by Carlo / Mariea suggests mercury + electromagnetic radiation
may be related to autism that you mentioned.

Anecdotal evidence
(1) Brick, NJ,had an autism cluster. It was near a 750,000 watt Doppler
radar transmitter.
(2) High rates occurred in California where there are many early
adopters of new technology.
(3) The Amish country has low rates of autism-- and they don't use as
much electricity.
(4) Some autistic children found improvements by Graham-Stetzer filters
in homes with a lot of dirty electricity (frequencies on power lines).

(5) Radar workers had increased incidence of children with Down's
syndrome

Dirty Electricity:
I wonder if your home has dirty electricity problems? You could check
with a Stetzerizer meter. I recently tried it and found that 2 CFL
bulbs took it up to a rating of 900 which is really bad (Kazakhstan
requires 50 or lower) but when replaced with incandescent light bulbs,
it went down to ~60. Websites to check out:

Dirty electricity is when intermediate frequencies get onto the power
lines and then radiate into the air. These frequencies are in between
power line frequencies and microwaves (MHz/GHz). CFL bulbs and dimmer
switches, in particular, add dirty electricity onto wires, when
plugged in.

I believe the Graham-Stetzer filter essentially acts as a capacitator,
which is built into some laptops to protect the electronics. It is used
to reduce the intermediate frequencies other than the 50/60Hz needed for
electricity. I wonder if in the future they can somehow add a
built-in capacitator to it.
