Hi,

Here are three things I've found helpful for my computer use:

1. I and a friend with ES have both found buying a computer from safelevel.com very helpful. I got an Apple laptop and my friend got a PC desktop from safelevel. We are both happier. They not only shield your new computer, but will air it out for a week before sending it. I have another one like mine that isn't shielded and the difference to my es is quite remarkable. Ican't be on the unshielded one for more than 10 minutes or even sit besideit without symptoms.

2. I also use a grounded screen like the ones found at the following link to cut down the screen radiation. My face feels sunburned if I don't use it.The screen fits nicely into my laptop carrier.

3. I also use a grounded mat under my bare feet like the one at the following link. If my feet aren't on the mat, my head hurts. This mat is quite portable.

With these accommodations plus having everything wired rather than wireless, I can use the computer for hours longer than I could before.

I have no financial interest in any of these companies or products, just want to share what has helped me. I also used a separate keyboard for a while, but found that I don't need it anymore, unless I'm wearing rings or a watch with a metal strap.

Hope this info is useful to you!

The things im concerned about so far are:- wireless,3g, screen brightness and any other elements that may crank up the volume on electromagnetic hell. After that im looking for something very small and portabe with a big memory given that I travel a lot. I would appreciate feedback as to what other things I should be looking out for +/- any recommendations as to brands/models that people have had sucess with. My old computer has given me very little trouble compared to other newer and stronger desk tops I have used in the last year, which all invariably leave me feeling just a little bit sick.I would hope that whatever model I buy will not have that kind of deleterious effect
