I used to use the gloves, and I think they helped, even
when not grounded. A chemically sensitive friend
was concerned about what was in the gloves.
If it's a laptop try running it on battery.
A grounded shield can help with electric fields
but it will create a magnetic field.
I wish someone would make a heavy aluminum mouse
with fiber optic connection to the computer. This should
be affordable in the next couple years with Intel's' new
fiber optic devices.
