I just mean that these two supplements seem to be sort of an instant
"pick-me-up"... probably what caffeine is used for by most people,
you can get the same effect from adrenal extracts. Also dessicated
adrenal products have the same effect.

Also, some people advise using Adrenal Cortex supplements as opposed
to whole Adrenal.

It is advised to not become too dependent on some of these supplements
else you risk building a dependency. But I find I need far less
than any maximum dose to get benefits. And besides, the many
years I spent on cortico-steroids for allergies probably destroyed
my adrenals (and set me up for ES) in the first place.... :-(

As for getting Standard Process products without going through a
doctor, you can find places online that "break the rules" and
sell to the public. You can probably even buy most Standard
Process products via Amazon.com these days. And you can get
IsoCort there as well (and that is in fact where I get my
IsoCort!)
