Marc -- Can you explain a bit more about Isocort and Cataplex C as far as being a "quick fix"? What was your experience with them? I have tried Dr. Wilson's Adrenal Rebuilder and it made me feel pretty bad --too revved, and not in a good way -- and weren't a quick fix. My current Dr. says to take 5-htp and 800mg of magnesium. I can't see any difference on that regimen. Is there any way to get Standard Process products without going through a doctor?

Thanks! Amy

Yes, a major part of my ES was also adrenal, and I've found adrenal support
supplements to be a big help -- over the years, I've used Dr. Wilson's
Adrenal Rebuilder, IsoCort, Desicated Adrenal, Drenamin, etc. etc.

It can take years to support/rebuild the adrenals, although with some of
these supplements you can start feeling a bit better fairly soon (IsoCort,
for example, is a good "quick-fix", as is Standard Process "Cataplex C" --
a Vitamin C supplement that includes short-term adrenal support).
