My recollection is that EMX is not noise "cancellation", but rather
the "addition" of random noise. They felt that the problem with
EMF is that it is a steady pattern, and that humans won't react
as badly if they make the noise more random.

My thinking is that the addition of noise would just make things
worse, but I never got to try out any of their products, as they
mostly seemed to be "vaporware" (non-existent)
