I think it does all domino down to gut & immune system. But our systems aredamaged & yes we must replenish the good bacteria. Your gut will make B vitamins but I think we need to get our B12 from food sources like meat.
If our B12 is low then we are more suseptable to nerve damage. Then you have EHS. a piece to the big puzzle.
I am taking doing the B12 injections & I have sublingual Metyl B12 also. But I haven't increased the useage to see if it might make a difference. Worth a try.

Just know that your body produces B-12 naturally when your gut flora
is healthy. Being on antibiotics wipes out the good bacteria.
Consider boosting your probiotics or use a B-12 mouth spray.
