I'm looking for something similar because it looks easy to use and is also something that can validate what is going on in the environment.

I don't remember specifically, but the MW1 electrosmog detector is pretty
good if you don't need a numerical value. It's possible she had the
predecessor to that model.
Charles has recommended the eSpion detectors (can have them shipped from
Europe w/ Priggen.com, but they are pretty expensive),
and there was some TV segment or movie that showed someone using one.
