Yes my computer is much worse for me than my LCD tv because I am much closer to it. Loni

LCD TVs are usually much further away from people than computers
are, so they can be less of an issue. I know that I had some
reactions to my 37" 1080p LCD HDTV (a Panasonic) when I first
used it, but the application of a few EMF protection devices
and it was fine -- from 10 feet away!

I'd avoid anything that has faster refresh rates -- 120hz, etc.
(60hz is probably more tolerable than 120hz, I'd think, but
I have no personal experience).

I'd avoid plasma at all costs.

Make sure than the backlight is dimmable, as dimmed TVs are
more tolerable (for me, at least).

Some LCDs are now backlight by LED lights instead of florescent.
I don't know how much difference that might make in reactions.
