Ooops, Kris,

Sent too soon.  Was going to mention I had problems with Pacific Foodsbroths.  They seemed to be contaminated with gluten and they specifically say gf!  So if you have problems with being very sensitive to glutens, be especially careful of that brand. (But I have seen the same problem with other brands too--it is like playing Russian roulette when I use canned broth.  It is the one item which I never know ahead of time whether it is going to cause a reaction.  I had to begin making my own due to that.

Be well, Diane

I've noticed some I can tolerate and others not, but hadn't realized it could be a brand issue. What brand of corn tortillas do you buy usually?

I do get an organic Free Range Chicken and Beef broth from Pacific foods that I can tolerate really well. That helps a lot to have these as the base of my cooking.

Hi, Kris,

You write:
everything must be made from scratch. Even your broths for soup.

(me:)
Yes, that is the way I go, too. About the only thing I still buy manufactured are corn tortillas and I am having problems now finding the healthy(ier)brand locally.

You can still eat from the fruits and vegetables aisle...
