On the same topic of CRAVING FOR/OPIADS/DOPAMINES...
2 weeks ago I've been diagnosed with MILK ALLERGY. Since then I try toskip on dairy. It doesn't work always because I had kind of a yoghurt-addiction!
Strange thing SINCE LAST WEEK, when I'm in Belgian cities I get symptoms like migraine... it's like I feel the emf's a LOT more, in the past I didn't have any of these problems/symptoms on the same places.
I recently discovered that if I DRINK MILK these symptoms go awayimmediately! And on the day I've drunk/eaten dairy I don't have the symptoms of migraine in the city...
I think the 2 most likely EXPLANATIONS:
1. I need milk to help with my ES (a bit like nicotine whichwas mentioned to lower ES). Has it got something to do with calcium?
2. I don't need milk, the symptoms I have had the past week are because I'm healing or detoxing
(you know the "healing story": first it gets worse for a small period than it gets better)
Stephen.
P.S.
Diane: you and many others seem on a roll today! I thought this is themoment to launch this mystery!
Charles: I've missed you too, glad you're back and cool you're checking me out! Reading "the bitjes" are on my to-do-list for sure!

Hi Marc and Snoshoe,
Yes, I too notice my blood sugar tanks around emfs and I want SUGAR. And I am totally sugar-free, so that is bad! I crave sugar when I am having emf reactions and I also think it is not just blood sugar related (because raising my bs with allowable carbs is never satisfying). Sugaris satisfying, but then it upsets my blood sugar balance over the next several days or weeks. I think sugar reacts as an opiod for me, which iswhy I crave it. I have read that opiods can modulate the calcium-dependent potassium channels (a channelopathy connection which I have always felt bares some significance in EMS).
Sugarfree chocolate can satisfy the cravings also, tho, so I often do go that route--cocoa, peanut butter, some sugar-free coconut or some potato flour or flakes, and a few drops of stevia mixed together, is my remedy of choice. ;) (Stephen, are you taking notes? I get a free box, if you market this! lol)

An alternate explanation is that smoking cigarettes causes you to have
more dopamine (a neurotransmitter) in your system. I have previously
noted that EMF exposure (and heavy metal chelation) gives me several
symptoms of dopamine deficiency (attention/concentr ation, balance,
lack of energy, always hungry, etc.) Have been thinking about trying
some dopamine precursors (e.g. Tyrosine) to see if that has any benefit.
