It wasn't a hair toxic test. It was a chelation followed by a urine collection then testing the urine.
I'll check on the ALA.

However, Rixta is from another Forum that I'm on. She needs simple guidance in testing to see if she indeed has EHS. I tried to answer some of her questions and b/c I have only been dealing with this for a year, and been under a lot of brain fog, I can't seem to answer things correctly. She needs quick simple ways to shield herself and to test whether or not this is an issue for her. Thanks everyone.
Kris

Can you take alpha lipoic acid (ALA) without adverse effect? Some people use
this is a test for metal toxicity (even when the hair tests show nothing,
one can still be toxic -- it's just not in the hair)
