This might have been via private email with a doctor who was trying to
find the purest chlorella for their own practice. I had mentioned that
the Sun Chlorella made me much worse, while the Earthrise brand did not.
They replied that this was because they had already tested Sun Chlorella
as being much more contaminated than Earthrise. But this was years ago...
for all I know, both of these companies could have changed their
manufacturing practices or suppliers.

And chlorella is a pretty controversial subject in general -- there are
those who insist that chlorella does not remove metals from the body,
but rather just moves them around. I however have not noticed much
better results from the alternatives that are suggested....
