ideas/possibilities suggested previously:
Asus EEE-PC 10 inch, SSD
External keyboard and mouse good
LED backlight good
SSD good
battery driven good
if using charger, grounded plug good, dedicated ground rod better

Mac air and unibody macbook are also of interest
but I like to be able to swap batteries.
Fiber optic connection would be worth exploring too.
